There is so much I could tell you about this sweet family and their Maine fall family adventure session. I remember their just married session like it was yesterday. Right before I packed up, I convinced Erica and Brandon to take a quick photo in front of their little red house. I really had to talk them into it because their house was still a work in progress. I remember telling them someday they would look back on that photo and remember just how far they have come. Well, dozens of projects and three kids later, I’d say the two of you and your home have come very far.
One of the best parts of capturing fall family photos is getting to see each of the kids very unique personalities. They told jokes, played peek a boo, and skipped down the path. I always want families to have that beautifully framed photo. One of everybody looking at the camera with their best smiles. But more importantly, I want them to have the in-between moments. The fun, silly moments spinning through the air with their dad. The little laughter only a big brother can get out of his new baby sister. And that look a mom has as she watches her children happily playing. Above all those are the memories that are cherished for generations.
The best part of this family session is how playful all of these photographs turned out. I love that you can clearly see the free spirit of their oldest daughter. I love that you can tell just how proud their son is to be a big brother. And that you can see just how much these parents adore all of their children.
I hope you love this small sample of photos from their session. There are many, many more that I can’t wait to share. In other words, selecting these favorites was very hard. This Maine fall family adventure session was filled with the most incredible moments.
