Morgan and Dillion are the sweetest couple. You feel it when you’re with them! You can see it when you watch them interact. The way they smile at each other lights up the entire room. You hear it in the stories that their family and friends share about them. They are truly soulmates and best friends. They have an undeniable love for one another and that is why this day was absolutely perfect!!
The energy, the joy, the strong family bonds…. it made for the most amazing wedding day! Morgan and Dillion are high school sweethearts. But their story is a little more unique than the “we met in science class and have been together ever since.” They fell in love in high school but as Morgan would say Dillion was the one who got away. Luckily their love was always destined to be and they reconnected when they both happened to be traveling through another country. It’s a rare kind of love story and it’s beautiful.
I could go on all day about how wonderful these two and their families are. I have so many moments from their wedding that I will always cherish. Seeing all the nerves start to fall away as Morgan’s mom and sister helped her into her dress. Then having all the excitement build when Morgan and Dillion exchanged cards.
I always say weddings mean almost as much to the parents as they do to the bride and groom. I loved how involved Morgan and Dillion’s families were in this day. Morgan’s first look with her dad while her mom watched around the corner and Dillion’s Parents walking him down the aisle, were some of the sweetest moments of the day.
I love slowing down and allowing my couples to take in the day. I love giving them space to laugh and wrap up in one another. And I especially love when they are in complete awe of each other and all the beauty around them. Finding beautiful backdrops is never hard at the Timber Hitch Farmhouse, however, Morgan’s favorite was the tree line of beautiful fall-covered leaves. As the sunset, the oranges and yellows became more vibrant and somehow even more stunning.
After everyone enjoyed cocktail hour we made our way into the barn for dancing, dinner, and toasts. I don’t think there was a dry eye in the room. The performance Morgan’s best friend gave was one of the best I’ve ever seen. It may have even been my favorite moment of the day.
Morgan and Dillion’s love for one another is so apparent. Who they are, their personalities, their passions, their kindness, their smiles…. they are such a beautiful couple. I am honored to have been their photographer.
Enjoy this small selection of some of my favorite images of their day.
